I have added only a few people to my favourites list. Most of them I know in (so-called) real life, but there are a couple I added because of their interesting journals, even though I know I'm in no way what they are looking for.

i'll admit, i have added a couple to my favorites as well because when the forum gets a little boring.. the profiles get interresting. we all have glanced at one or two, that we either laughed at, smiled at, drooled over, even got angry reading, because of different opinions... (hey well all know about opinions... lol)
to get angered over the fact that someone added you to their favorites, perhaps it's best to not make a profile, or even delete the account and go find a place you can have more control over things like that.
of course... that's is only my lowly opinion on this... i know.. big deal.... LOL
