Citation, please.

A member of a legal group advising protesters on their rights argued that Monday's arrest of about 90 people at Civic Center Park was illegal. Police said the protesters refused orders to disburse and that some carried rocks and other potential weapons as they surged toward the 16th Street Mall, though there was no indication that weapons charges had been filed against any of the protesters. In a Tuesday briefing of the Denver City Council and Mayor John Hickenlooper, Police Chief Gerry Whitman said the incident began when as many as 600 protesters began heading toward the Denver City and County Building at about 7 p.m.

That's a link to a book which printed the quote. Now the CITATION is in end/footnote 47, right?

Which isn't included in the excerpt on Google...

So, Once again: Citation Please.

That's the problem in America today...if exercizing our constitutional rights is now cause for arrest, we the people...are all done.

Look on youtube ad you can find the republicans having old women being threatened with arrest (for tresspassing at city hall no less) of they don't lose their signs. One had a sign that only had 'McCain = Bush.'

In 1968 the demonstrators were protesting our involvement in Viet Nam, the CIA's operation inside the US and resistance to our new 4 year old civil rights laws.

It was Nixon henchmen that started the violence.

These conventions now are merely extended political happy hours...nothing is going to be decided here as it was back in the day when delegates voted from the convention floor. The primaries do that now. These conventions are merely our form of party coronation of the nominee.

Please pass the tinfoil.  However, I will grant you one thing, if protesting is not allowed we have serious problems.

A CITATION.  That would be the author, title, publisher, date of publication, and page number.  Three of the five are right there.  You are as capable of scrolling as I am, for the rest.

Do you perhaps have something to suggest he was inaccurately quoted?  The words would certainly seem to fit a man who advocated radical action, wouldn't they?  Cuz, fact of business, Fargle, I'm not going to play along with your peculiar standards of evidence.

     Have a great night.

Well,  protestors have the right of free assembly.
And if we agree or not they have the right to be heard and the govt should redress their greivances.

Well, yeah. I want to see where THAT author claims to have obtained the quotation. Did they just pull it out of their ass, or what? It's GOT A FOOTNOTE next to it, so it's supposedly got a source. I'd like to check that source, otherwise the quote is, perhaps interesting, but not really attributable.

It's interesting that the actual source itself doesn't come up in googling.

That's a pretty lame tactic FB.  You want to pretend Rubin never said it, you are now in the position of proving that assertion, not wallowing deeper in denial by pretending that the provided quote isn't a 'Twue' citation.
