Status: offline 		I see temper being anger expressed in a very childish manner. It seems to be quite counterproductive and a waste of energy which could be used in a more productive way, at least for myself this applies.

Status: offline 		Most of the time my anger turns me cold, not hot; so the concept of angry sex is foreign to me. I don’t want to see or talk to the person until I have dealt with my anger by analyzing myself as well as the situation.  That gives me a chance to decide whether to just let it go or talk it over once I feel I can express it appropriately. 
There have been a few times in my life where I’ve felt hot anger but did  physical things like dig up bushes to exhaust it.

Status: offline 		Being angry and losing one's temper are 2 different things to me.  I think keeping anger bottled up inside is the fastest way to losing your temper.    It builds and builds until you explode.   I've seen that and I've been on the receiving end of that temper.   Not a place I want to be again. 

But expressing anger is good for the soul, imo.   Some of the best sex I've had was "angry" sex.

You and I think very much alike!..I used to pick fights all the time in past relationships just to provoke angry sex...
That being said, sometimes even the hottest angry sex, or the most sincere apology can't erase the memory of hurtful words spat out in anger. One should be very careful when hurling those particular projectiles. Sometimes when you hit your target, you leave no trace of what once was...

Status: offline 		I've never really thought about it as I'm not violent like that. But giving thought to it now, I would venture to say they need anger management classes. Or... a gym membership. Somewhere where they can go and vent and not hurt anyone. As far as the "rough sex" bit goes, I would say that depends on the severity of the anger and such. In general, probably NOT the best idea. To easy for it to get carried away and end up differently.

I don't know about those angry threads around here, but maybe I'll run into them someday.

I work tech support for a living, so I have a lot of anger inside of me that I cant release on the people that piss me off, hence the gaming. :D
Personally, I dont enjoy sex/play when I'm pissed off... a BJ sure, but thats it :P

I can have my blood boiling and know that I have to stay away from her, but once I've cooled off and while I still have a good simmer going, I like to take her from behind, belly down, hair in hand, a good spanking with the other and a one-way discussion until I'm ready to finish. Then I jerk in her face, hair and wipe off on the sheets that she hopefully just washed. I like knowing she has some thinking to do about things while she cleans up. Even if her thoughts make her want me again. I always feel better after that. Hell, I'm calmer now just thinking about it.

Edited to add... I don't consider this punishment, it's only to make me feel better.

But if you enjoy ranting and raving to get out stress whenever you've had a bad day, and you know that your partner is terrified of this, then it isn't okay. You either start taking your stress to the gym instead of using your partner as an emotional punching bag, or you damage the relationship.

Some people have huge blow up fights on Friday night and spend all Saturday having make up sex. It works for them. But it has to work for both of them or both will be unhappy.

Anger doesn't work for me. I've spent too many people who used their anger to get everyone else to guess at what was wrong, walk around on eggshells, hide in closets etc to be willing to ever be with someone else who doesn't have rigorous control of his anger. For me, a person who isn't capable of coming home and saying "I am so angry, my boss waited until 4:15 to land me with this damn report and he knew we had plans for the weekend" instead of blowing a gasket is not someone I am compatible with.
