  • Call again once you've asked them not to;

      Lets see if that works.

    Again.

    Hell most telemarketers don't pay attention to the laws already on the books! However I've found that if you demand to speak with their supervisor and then when you get them on the phone, demand to speak with his supervisor and then threaten then with harrasment and that you have his name and that you will file a harassment law suit on them with $100 for every call that they make after this date.

    They leave you alone.

    if they are debit collectors find out what the statue of limitations in your state is for secured and unsecured debit. if you past the statue limit quote them the regulation and they disappear!

    I keep getting harassed by Wells Fargo Financial for an auto loan... that isn't even registered to me.    Apparently the assholes who had my phone number before me skipped out on a few payments so I keep getting calls at all hours of the day or night asking for them despite having told them a thousand times before "THEY DON'T LIVE HERE.  STOP CALLING ME."

    Every time they tell me they'll take me off the list, but nooooooooooo...

    Anyone know if there's anything I can do to make them shut the Hell up?

    Well Pyrrsefanie I could suggest one obvious,but probably objectional course of action....you could pay the loan off

    Lord, I've thought about it...

    But if I ever track down Johnny and Lucrecia, whoever the Hell they are, I swear I'm going to go Ed Gein on their asses.

    Personally I don't think telemarkers are that big of annoyance, but then again we don't get called very much by them, and we have an answering machine we know who we're going to be speaking to before picking up since we screen all calls. And it's not that big of a deal to set it to answering machine after 2 rings an simply listen to who's there.  Of course years ago when I was about 10 we used to get plauged with calls where someone just called up and breathed loudly, or said nothing at all or telemarketers, but now? Nope not hardly bothered, in fact it's people my dad has buisiness with like bank of america that's harrasing us the most. BOA is ALWAYS calling about wanting to sell one program or a nother.

    Hello Pyrrsefanie,

    You need to go over the underlings heads and deal directly with management.  Demand to talk to a supervisor.  Get names, phone extensions, heads of departments.  Bust their balls on this one.

    I am talking phone calls, e-mails and written letters sent certified mail.  When they finally catch on that you are ready to take legal action against them the underlings heads will start rolling.

    Get all medieval on their ass!

    Report them to the abuse department of your phone company.

    Kill two birds with one stone that way.
