I wish they would make up their minds. And when you think about it....is it good for the democrats that he will be there?

http://www.wdetfm.org/article/judge-allows-kilpatrick-to-attend-democratic-convention/

Judge Leonard Townsend ruled this morning (Thurs) that Mayor Kilpatrick can attend the Democratic National Convention in Denver later this month.    And Townsend says the mayor will be allowed to attend the convention without a tether.
“I also don’t think that the people of the city of Detroit and the state of Michigan should be represented by a person wearing prison clothes or wearing a tether.”

I don't thing the people of Detroit should be represented by a clown either, but they still voted him back in.

He won't be speaking, and probably won't get any attention, so I don't think it will help or hurt them.  Now if Obama picks him as the VP for the ticket, all bets are off.

Yea your probibly right. The VP thing was funny. I guess he would be a safer choice than say Hilary. I heard she told someone that if he picks her, she is going to send him on a trip as sort of a thank you. Something about hunting in the woods with Cheney.

You know as scary as it sounds, there is a bit of merit to that.  I think Obama would be smart to choose somebody that is not as appealing to everybody for the office.  The whackos out there have enough thoughts, giving them what they see as a better alternative, through forceful means doesn't seem to me like it would be a good decision. Know what I mean?

I can say from my personal feelings that if Colorado wishes to keep our precious Kwame, don't feel bad about us, we will find another upstanding elected official to replace him.[8|]

Now there's an interesting "what if" scenario....which running mate would be more damaging to Obama's campaign:  Edwards or Kilpatrick?
