Impressive!   I was at the last city hall meeting here. We are starting phaze 1 of the riverfront development project.  This phaze is the non-contraversial part.October- they will put in landscape, benches, a sidewalk, along the city side of the river wall. Anyhow- the topic of the lighting came up.  As it turns out Penndot mandates so many lunins per street light.  Note the Lewisburg has trademarked their street light design. No one is allowed to use it as the design is the property of Lewisburg. [10 minutes north]  so various towns scramble to create a light that goes with the flavor of the town.  So these lights are supposed to be really nice---   so who pays the elctric bill for street lights???

ps- the town is combing all city laws and removing outdated ones. yay

Two very different topics here, PaHunk.  I know the area that is discussed in your link, very well.  Unless they have some nifty new technology that draws solar power most efficiently in clouds and drizzle, I think it's another damn boondoggle.
