It's wonderful to see Olympic history in the making!
The swimming events in Beijing have been awesome.

I am so proud of Dara Torres I might dance a jig!
She is 41 years old, she recently gave birth and she came back

and won her 10th Olympic gold medal.

Dara Torres is so awesome, she has even motivated me!

Michael is of course beyond awesome.
Michael, Michael and Michael you are certainly the man!

He is certainly on top of the world these days.
Photo Gallery: Michael Phelps wins 7th gold medal

Isn't it wonderful to see these 2 breaking Olympic records?
How many 41 year old men or women can compete in the Olympics in any sport?
Dara you are woman, you are awesome and damn it you are roaring!

Is anybody else watching the Olympic coverage and enjoying watching
all the wonderful and marvelous athletes from all over the world?

Isn't it great to see SOMETHING on the telly that just makes you smile?

It's fantastic, and motivating.  NBC did a great thing negotiating the way they did to cover the sport - much to their benefit, and the viewers.  The swimmers are swimming semis and finals in the morning and prelimins at night, which is backwards from the way the sport works so that the finals could be at night during primetime, live.  Seeing these races and the reactions live has been incredible.

I'm even enjoying the men's basketball because of the reception the Americans have received and their more 'humble' attitude - if it's possible for an NBA player to be humble.  Mike Krzyzewski has done a good job with PR this go-round.

I laugh as I hear Phelps swimming the butterfly (I love my Venus butterfly).
I wonder how many women (myself included) think other things when they hear he's doing the breaststroke.

I enjoy watching the mens' basketball, but today's game against Spain was sweet to watch.  USA played well, as usual, and I was sheer pleasure to watch Spain's players...  *fans self*  Spain does have some "fappable" men..... hmmmm

although I did get a kick out of seeing MzMia bow and repeat my name over and over....Yay Michael...yay

I am so glad other people are enjoying the games as much as I am.
I did not watch the opening night, and I really only started watching
it last week.
I agree the coverage is fantastic!
Can you imagine a 41 year old woman, that recently had a baby,
competing and winning a medal?

It is great to watch something on t.v. that shows people participating
in games/sports from all over the world.
It is wonderful to watch and really smile, and feel good about America,
other countries and the world.
Many of us need this "break" from all the other things going on in the
world that give us nothing to smile about!
Enjoy!!!

Thank you so much Vendaval!
It is great to have something this wonderful happening internationally!
I knew I had it bad when I was glued to my seat watching the

men's volleyball!
But then I was also looking at those bodies.

Plenty of eye candy to go around at the Olympics.

I was eating breakfast at a local restaurant and talked to a waiter, asking him, "How about Michael Phelps and Dara Torres?!  He told me that he was watching TV and Mr. Phelps won his 9th gold medal.  This is so awesome!  Ms. Torres has been an inspiration to me in achieving any goals we put our mind to be successful in any challenges that life has to offer us.

I am watching Shawn Johnson get her gold medal, if she
is not the cutest and most talented little lady.
We have had stellar athletes this year!
