1 - I remember seeing some kinda Demask music CD out there a long time ago. Wish I could recall the songs and groups on it. If anyone can list. That would be vunderbar. 2. What music group(s) and or song(s) make YOU just creamy, delicous and ready to play? :)

I scene to Celtic music. I have some Nature Quest cds which is Celtic Music with the sounds of nature in the background. It helps me to go into my dominat headspace. Plus jigs and reels have a good rythum to paddle butt by.

i am particularly fond of Enigma and the Domme i play with has a CD with American Indian music that was made for her. It is something to watch the head space she goes into with her music. i also agree with sassylady about Nature Quest and Celtic music, but more for the after care period. cyn

I actually use celtic music to sleep to,and some native american music. They both have nature sounds within them. patina

I'm throwing together a little something something for my Birthday weekend. Thank you all for the inspirations! So far, I have A LOT of Love and Rockets, Lisa Gerrard, Die Form. And. I don't want to say anymore as he (switches are we) might be lurking. ;) /Becomes giddy thinking of this weekend. P.S. I still can't find that DeMask CD. [:(]

If it's going well, I lose the music completely. So, something either noise-like (NIN etc anyone?) that I'm not listening to at all (There is a reason I didn't know the name of the song with the lyric "bow down before the one you serve, you're going to get what you deserve" - I could sing it, cos a certain someone made me sit through it over and over, but name it... no way) or something ethereal, Fauxborden, Faure, Gregorian chant, Era, Enya, Stanford (!) that I'm familiar with and can lose myself in. Music tends to either help, or be neutral. And strangely, if it's helping, it tends to stop it being really good, eventaully.

Here i see totally different tastes that do not let a pattern to be recognized. i guess everything that suits the scene and is with good measure of rhythm in basses - most of pop music - will do the job.
