Hello to everyone,

I am a 44 year old D and am 1 &1/2 years out of an 8 year relationship with my sub. I am not sure how many D's are posting but would like to discuss some issues my ex sub and I are having. I had to let her go based on some serious trust agreements she violated (was painful for both of us). I still feel so very protective of her and she still relies on me in as many ways as I allow. I am looking to start a new relationship but live in the middle of "NOWHERE FAST LAND". Therefore, I would like to make friends (online or off) as well. My training as a D dates back at least 15 years or more. Was fortunate enough to actually have hands on training with another D (who was kind and patient enough to take me on as a student). Better stop for now. Thank you for letting me share and hope someone is out there LOL :) HEY NOT SURE WHY MY ICON IS VANILLA....NO WAY..

ANYWAY TO FIX IT?

DMG,

Hello and welcome. There are plenty of dominants here and they have lots to say, myself included. I'm sure you will find lot of information and as long as you can "filter it" appropriately you will find this site rewarding.

Sorry to hear about your situation, I went through "serious trust" issues with my submissive of nine years. I was stuck in limbo for quite some time.

I would like to suggest moving any conversations to the discussion forums. General BDSM discussion and Ask a Master are two of my favorite forums. I occassionally go to the Off Topic forum also when I want to involve myself in a lively non-BDSM discussion.
