I just want an even bigger freezer, to store more meat.  Simply put I want enough room to store a side of beef and a deer.  Between all of the other things that need to be frozen (at least in my home) I don't have enough space to do so.... at least not yet.

I am of "average build" for what it is worth, I do know that term is quite slippery when one takes into account the 2 extremes that are becoming more and more common.

I have a standard 20cu ft fridge, we also have a huge stand-up deep freezer inthe basement.

When we buy meat we go to a local farm and have a cow and pig slaughtered, that feeds us for the year.  I also deer hunt so on occasion we will have a side venision in the freezer also.

[8|]  Ummmm, in Idaho, since I had a house full of monsters, I had a 26 cf fridge, a 22 cf fridge and a 15 cf chest freezer. When the nearest grocery store is 30 miles away and you're only shopping every few weeks, well, you're not fitting 6-8 gallons of milk plus everything else in one little itsy bitsy refrigerator. Plus, I too would stock up with a side of beef and assorted other meats. And vegetables. And fruits. A few years ago I canned/froze 150 pounds of Lambert cherries. Add that to all the other stuff I would put up, and you can see where some serious room was needed.

Now, Daddy and I just have a standard little refigerator, not very big, that's probably in the 19-20 cf range.  But it's also just the 2 of us now since I moved in with him. [;)]
