i've found that the more times i wax, the less hair grows back. i'm down to waxing every 8 weeks now... it started out every 4. Of course, you'll have hair in between - just less of it and it's a lot finer. i found shaving in between just caused ingrown hairs. i am holding out hope that it will eventually all stop growing back.

I used to shave my ex-husband........course that was before our marriage went downhill.....towards the end i don't think he trusted me with a razor to his balls <sweet smile>

Well, back when times where ancient and I rode rough stock, I had to wear a cup. If you were smart, you taped it in place. That convinced me to start getting rid of some hair and I ended up liking it (plus the ladies seemed to appreciate it and were much more enthusiastic about sucking). I tried several methods and this is what I now do, I trim with an electric barbers trimmer. I use Nair on my balls and around my cock but shave back and around certain areas. It seems to work for me.
I've also found it's easier to keep clean.

But don't worry, the rest of my body still will satisfy the hairy barbarian fantasies.

I use soap to shave all parts of my body and do my "nether regions" on average approx every 3 to 4 days . I also use the same razor as I do my facial hair and usually don't change blades but every month or two. I've found out "the hard way" that newer and much sharper blades leave more nicks and cuts down below on the more sensitive areas of the body. I prefer to shave in the shower as the heat and humidity tend to help open up my pores more and make shaving a much easier and less messy chore.

Since the OP asked about trimming and not shaving or other total hair removal, I'd recommend something like the Phillips Body Shave. It does a pretty good job of trimming body hair just about anywhere, and can also shave it pretty smooth. Seiko (makers of the Seiko CleanCut Body Shaver, which is very highly rated) also makes trimmers. I've never tried a Seiko, but they're probably pretty good, based on the reviews of the CleanCut. The Phillips isn't super high quality, but does the job fairly well, and doesn't cost much.

I have a little "personal trimmer", it's about 1.25 inches wide, works very well in the tight spots. might have to look at the hairdryer aisle to find one, but it was inexpensive and runs on batteries.

quality beard trimmers are excellent for pubic hair trimming. electric eyebrow trimmers are great for any shaping one might feel the whim to do.

Those are tricky. If you're relaxed, a razor works well. If not, imagine a lawn mower. Use the trimmer like a lawn mower, keeping it just above the skin. It will only cut the "high grasses". That said, you'll need to do multiple passes and from different angles.

Wash before you dry, and dry before you cut. Also, stand on a towel, above a toilet or tub... Anywhere but carpet. =\

Thank you Heavans, this is exacly what I was looking for. I was able to get everything else trimmed, but the balls were tricky indeed. I'll do the lawnmower trick, sounds good to me. And I am using a standard Wahl beard trimmer, it works pretty good. Gets the hair right down there. I was unsure if I'd like it, but I really do like it, its much more sensitive now too. I can't wait to have sex with my girlfriend on Saturday. Thanks again man.

hope u read the other entry...about the veet causing burns. i mean, i still use it and LOVE it, but :)

also, when i was shaving and having problems with breakouts, etc, a PANOXYL bar i purchased at the Rx counter at the giant for $7 helped clear that up a lot. wonder if that would help your skin??
