masternoname -> Name calling (7/30/2008 8:04:18 AM)

I have been reading through the off topic and have noticed something...

I have see McSame, McFlip-Flop, McCainocrats etc etc

I have also seen Obama but no nick names to speak of

Have I just missed all those insults?

Is it true that people who have no constructive critasism usually resort to name calling?

Does anyone else see the inability of people to spell out McCain as very grade school behavour?

His name is Fries McCain, thank you very much.

Did you really miss out on all the piss-taking out of Obama's name? Do a basic search, and see for yourself. Perhaps you suffer from a case of selective reading [&:] .

Every Prez is bashed, Reagan for voodoo economics, Bill for womanizing.

Watch Bill oreilly, sean hannity of Fox and you will see nobama bashed, daily.

This month I get free MSNBC, keith oberman has lowered to name calling, the jabs never stop and it is no loner cutsy,

McCain gets heat since he is GOP as is Bush.  Also no prez gets elected by raising taxes.... tho promising everyone a pony as Obama is doing -comes close.

See Ron Paul.  I put a home made sign on the side of my house. I am all ready for the code people. If caught- i will cover it for a week then uncover it for 29 days. You see- Ron Paul signs are bold- in central PA, and the media says we are crazy. So crazy we shall be. A debt in trillions and no one know what number comes after trillion,

Ron PAUL.

christine1 -> RE: Name calling (7/30/2008 9:02:46 AM)

OP, yes people call obama names too.  it gets old from both sides after a while, and the obnoxious thing is, is that it won't end after the elections.

masternoname -> RE: Name calling (7/30/2008 10:03:33 AM)

I am not talking about bashing the guy, yes they all do that.

I am talking about the name calling

for example....McCancer, McSame...crap like that just sounds a tad childish and all I see anyone calling Obama is Obama. Just thought it was strange that at least in Off Topics, the trend seems to lean to the left. I thought they were supposed to be the sensitive ones.

abcbsex -> RE: Name calling (7/30/2008 10:03:38 AM)

Whenever I've heard someone try to call him something dirty, they just emphasize his middle name.
