Hello everyone. I've recently been talking with a dom about ways to administer pain and he said that he likes putting listerine up his sub's ass and then putting in a butt plug. Would you consider that safe? Would you try it? Any comments appreciated.

First note there is a difference between types of Listerine. If you get the Listerine in a bottle, that contains a lot of Alcohol. When you administer alcohol anally, it enters the blood very quickly, and you can't eject it. This makes it MUCH MUCH more dangerous than drinking it. If the dom carefully administers small doses, starting very small and never gives you more than 150% of the last dose, it should be OK. Still, it is not the safest thing in the world. But then a lot of what we do is not entirely safe. You need to make up your own mind about what your limits are. I would not do this with someone that was themselves drinking. -------------- Now, if you are talking about the Listerine pocket pacs, those things are entirely different. They contain no alcohol, only menthol. That is very safe to administer. They don't even contain sugar, so they won't cause a yeast infection if administered to a vagina.

I don't know about the safety, but it will probably result in really fresh-smelling farts. Seriously, though, I'm guessing it might not be a good idea. The alcohol would probably be rapidly absorbed by the intestines.

I suspect this Dom is living a fantasy life. He likes to 'fantasize" about putting listerine in a sub's ass. Because I imagine the reality is rather less pretty that the mild burning and tingling he expects to have happen. If something is not safe to drink, it's probably not safe to put in your ass. Even if you're just going to swish it around then rinse.

The alcoholic content in listering lists as 25%, less than the stated content for vodka. I have to wonder when people are so agast at the thought of using things like that are imagining a large 1 gallon enema bag will be filled to capacity using said liquids. Assuming that the dominant is an idiot, always ask how much listerine he likes to use. If he is an idiot, then it might be wise to point out he can get a similar effect by dipping the butt plug in listerine and then inserting. It is a sad world when you have to assume someone is clueless, but maybe it will make people ask more questions about what they are in for. Kyst

Not only can it get you really drunk really fast (though this is -very- dose-dependent), alcohol is an irritant to mucous membrane and dries out the membrane, which will impact the insertion of the butt-plug). Next, Listerine contains floride, which is not supposed to be taken internally (the warnings not to swallow). Last but not least, Listerine contains menthol. Menthol is another mucous membrane irritant, and has a multiplied effect. Listerine enemas (which is what he's basically talking about) can severely irritate a sensitive rectum and colon and carries a risk of causing ulcerations in the colon. Unless we're talking about a few -drops- of Listerine, I'd pass on this one. Calla Firestorm

WTF and WTF again. As other have pointed out about how your body will absorb things. Next to taking medication in the mouth, or being injected into your blood stream with a needle, taking it in the ass is another way to go. Read the WARNING Label on Listerine!

could he have been talking about the listerine strips? Those are made to be ingested so the alcohol and floride shouldn't be an issue right?

couldn't do it, wouldn't do it. would opt for a different "Dom". One that would care about my overall well being, in the long run. if you are in subfrenzy and need somebody to tell you 'NO' then let me help you there. No, don't let that happen to you, there are other safer methods to get that 'icy hot' feeling if that is what you desire.

Some alternatives to Listerine that I think are safer (though I may well get corrected of course): Toothpaste Vic's Vapor Rub (may be too strong for you!) IcyHot Tiger Balm Cinammon oil Cinammon and peppermint breath strips Bengay Toast muscle rub Menthol Ginger Test whatever you're going to use on a small patch of skin first. I'd also suggest testing it on the outside of your asshole before putting it inside. Have fun!

Have you ever inserted one of these into someone elses ass? What were the results? I am sure you wouldn't suggest something like this, unless you have tried it first, so please share your experiences with us.
