My honest assessment is that you're not going to get very far with the ladies if you take this approach.  The guy who posted above you that "you don't treat a slave like a lady" has, in previous threads, been honest with the fact that he's not having good results setting up meetings with women.  Meanwhile, there's a "Meeting CollarMe Regulars" thread going on right now, where people are talking of how they've met upwards of 30 CM folks.  You would have to perv the profiles of the posters there to discover what their D/s orientation is, because there's no way to tell from how they are bantering with one another.

It really boils down to deciding which is more important: ego-validation, or material results.

Basically none-You can thank the NET for that and the influx of swingers who like rough sex...but hey then what do I know!? The days of respect of titles and positions having deep specific meaning are mostly gone or diluted to just another pick-up line.

Despite Red’s wonderful advice, I hope you don’t go and get all politically correct on us now.  I didn’t mind your introduction and I enjoyed Stella’s waxing nostalgic and her amazing suppositions.  If you hadn’t posted she would’ve had no fuel for her fire.

I have to say I am generally surprised by the excellent manners on this board, unlike others I have been a part of people do seem to have respect for the thoughts of others... There is, however, the odd wanker that everyone just ignores (or makes fun of behind their 'board' back...)

   Yes thank you ResidentSadist.   Dont like the PC crap myself. Think people should be honest with their thoughts and not hide them.  Except of course when she asks....Honey do these pants make my ass look fat?   "No Dear of course not!"   Honest answer is not a good one there!

ViolentAshes like your point as well. This seems to be a close knit place and I am impressed how everyone gets along here both good or bad.  Lets face it someone or something will get us upset, but it is most important how we handle it?

   Myself I use a firm hand,paddle or flogger.[:D]

it is nice that you have taken on the advice here with a smile and some introspection....

i would say just be yourself, and don't insist on any formalities or worse, protocols, until you have consent and a meeting of the the minds.

   Thanks so much. even tho I am a Man I can listen at times.   Love this place and have found someone special here already which was a nice surprise.  But we are still meeting and learning each other first.

I didn't think his opening post was rude at all. I thought it was thoughtful and considerate of him to come in and ask ahead of time, to avoid offending anyone. He even tried to be humorous and playful about it. But it seems that there are those here who will take offense where none is intended and flame him for it. Does sound very fair and in my opinion, a number of you were quite rude to him.

Welcome to the forum, Frank, and to answer your question, common courtesy is always expected...until privately negotiated otherwise. LOL!
