Status: offline 		being the twisted bitch I am, I probably would have enjoyed the rapid descent... the oxygen masks would have tempered that though...lol

I'll be interested to hear what the investigators find out about the cause of the hole.

Status: offline 		GT, you aren't the only one who really wants to hear the conclusions of the investigators into this particular incident.
 
I'll have to keep my ear to the ground with some of my FAA and NTSB buddies (and see if DA won't do the same) to get the Real scoop after they finally release the "official" causes.

Status: offline 		Rhi, will we hear from the FAA & NTSB though since this was a Quantas flight out of Melbourne Australia going to London? Or will the report be done by the Aussie authorities? Not that it matters, I'm still curious. I got the scoop a bit ago from my Australian news sources since I still keep up as best as possible since I went to school there.

Status: offline 		While it won't be the FAA and NTSB that do the investigation - people in the profession talk to each other.  That's a simple fact of life, whether they work in the US or somewhere else.  Considering some of the guys I know that work for the FAA - I have NO doubt that they'll be able to find out anything left Out of Official reasons.  (And a good blow job goes a long way towards prying such information out of some of them!)

Status: offline 		that occured to me too, pts.. I really expected there to be at least a few shrieks.. of course, the vid starts AFTER the masks have fallen, so yeah, I imagine that the attendants had done their job well by that time

Status: offline 		If you've ever flown Quantas, you'd know that it's one of the best airlines in the world. I'd have no problems getting on one of their planes tomorrow, even after seeing this video and hearing about this. They have top-notch flight crews and planes. (Yes, I've flown on them several times before.)

I haven't flown them recently but they always had the yummiest flight attendants. I swear it had to be a job requirement to be scrumptious to be hired with them. Ok, end hijack.
