Status: offline 		Have you heard Kid Rock's 'summer hit' "All Summer Long"?   Sure you have if you have a radio that gets something other than NPR!   Its crossed over to pop, country, rock AND oldies because it samples two great, dead bands:  Warren Zevon and Lynryd Skinner.  (Apparently Kid Rock cannot write more than 5 notes in a row).

So I'm wondering...with the well known demise of most of LS in that plane crash, and Warren leaving us due to cancer last year, what great rocker can Kid Rock kill off next by sampling and mashing?

I'm voting for a Kid Rock "Summertime Blues"/"Night Moves" mash-up.  Goodbye, Pete Townsend and Bob Seeger.  We knew ye well.

Status: offline 		Hey, I haven't heard this song... I wonder, if I request it, if they'll cram it in between Closer and Crazy Bitch (which they -do- play).

On the other hand, the station I listen to had a 2 hour stretch this morning that I -swear- must have been "theme" selected as "kinky and deadly". *grins* It rocked!

Status: offline 		You've got your cause and effect a bit muddled here.  Kid Rock was 6 years old when the Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash happened.  Warren Zevon met his demise years before this song was produced.  It's a lot silly to ask who he'll kill off next, but totally on point to ask which corpse he's going to pick at next.  James Brown, Ike Turner, Johnny Cash, Robert Palmer, Kurt Cobain...  Who knows where Kid Rock's next hit will come from?

i just wonder why the local "hard rock" station keeps playing him... even some of the DJs make fun of it (this one and his Christian Contemporary single).

i really need to get a CD player in the garage
