No matter who reports it, any study that lists the Defense Department's Rand Corporation as a liberal group is fatally flawed.

That is why I posted the link to the site that keeps track of all news stories, and breaks down the coverage week by week, and even provides customizable searches based on industry (print, broadcast, internet etc..), owner (of the particular media outlet), and topic.

I figure folks can make their own decisions on the facts, but suggesting that there is not a leaning towards a particular candidate, is at best naive.

Yeah, look at how "fair and balanced" Fox News has been over the last 8 years...

(Nevermind that Scot McClellan just verified that the White House has been feeding propaganda directly to it's lat night news commentators... thus turning Fox News into little more than "The Ministry of Information." Oh, and how about Limbaugh's famous break with being a "water carrier" for the nastier elements of the republican party?)

Yup. Thre's a bias in the media alright... but it ain't against McCain...

Oh, and Thad: This is just an opinion, backed up by "facts" not a report on the facts themselves... so you shove the "investigative reporter" bullshit.

" What percentage of the mainstream media is in-the-tank for Barack Obama?''
"Oh, 90 percent,'' McAuliffe replied. "\I mean, from Day One it is what it is -- we're not complaining, we have to deal with the hand we're dealt with...''
"You know what - every independent study has said that this is the most biased coverage they have ever seen in a presidential campaign,'' said McAuliffe

Nice opinion. Not a fact... He pulled "90%" out of his ass? What are his facts?

Oh, I think Obama's got 90% of the news media behind him... and 32% of scientologists think McCain is a Theatan... and 0.01% of all Americans have hot tubs filled with cottage cheese....

I was providing an opinion other than one from the bias of Fox News...

McCauliffe is far from being the typical neo-con hack, that has expressed that view point.

But for the sake of discussion, Fox News and talk radio are hardly the majority of mainstream media.
