If I had to live my life over again, I would have gotten more serious about my photography sooner, but, I know I still have more than enough time to do so. Also, I'd have never bet on that kangaroo in a knife fight.

I would have gone to see my Momma before she died.I left her home at 12 to move crosscountry and she died unexpectedly before I could get back to see her....

If I could do it all over knowing what I know now, I would have slowed down a whole bunch. I would have taken my time with men especially. I likely would skip a bunch that I went for. I would have been more on my side and when someone upset me instead of thinking there was something wrong with me, I would have believed it was them more than I allowed myself to feel.

I would have still pursued my painting and still had my glorious doggie.

Maybe I would have asked for more somehow.

I would have fallen deeply in love with myself asap.

I do pursue my dreams so that is on track.

Is there some way I could finagle more cash in my pocket. I do love to shop but there is usually a deep hole where the cash is meant to be.

Maybe I would not take things personally and stuff like that if I could do it over.

I do tend to tell folks I care about that I care about them, I am pretty much a carpe diem type.

Maybe I would buy a flat iron for my hair if I did it all again, it is a good look.

I would have loved to have hugged my little brother one last time before he died but apart from that there is nothing that I would have changed in my life.  Even my less than stellar choices have taught me valuable lessons, even when I didn't think that at the time eg. skipping uni exams in order to go the beach and get drunk was possibly not one of my brightest decisions however I had a good time!

If I had my life to live over...

I'd have taken more chances.

I would not have let fear and indecision hold me back.

I'd have not played the victim for so long.

I'd have done the work that needed to be done to make my life what it should have been all along.

I'd have spent a lot more time in the game instead of sitting on the sidelines. I wasted so much time waiting for my life to start, just letting it pass me by.

Ahh well, I can't change the past...but, at least I can change the future!

I would not intentionally live it any differently and I would not intentionally live it the same.  I would just live it and let things occur as they do.  I have no regrets, only memories.  And besides, you can change anything you want to change now, in this very moment if you really want to.  The past is gone, the future is continuously changing.

1.  I would have focused more on academics, instead of pursuing theatre/acting, and gotten a degree.
2.  I would have learned more about the BDSM and D/s lifestyle while I was still young, fit, and desirable.
3.  I would have more fully explored my sexuality and gender issues.
4.  I would have NEVER married a vanilla woman.
5.  I would be collared/owned by the right Dom/me.
6.  I would be happy.

other than not having a career before i became a mom, i think i'd have left a good portion of what i've done alone.  i didn't have my first until i was 27, i'd have had plenty of time to get that started.  the outcome after all the marriage /divorce fallout would be alot better.

I remember at 13 or 14 years old, a doctor who worked with my father would stop by the house, drink about 4-5 beers and would always regret not doing some things when he was younger, "the could have, would have, and should haves" part.  Unfortunately, he died at 58 years old, possibly because he was single and did not take good care of his health.

There have been a lot of things I wish I should have or should not have done in my life; however, for me, learning never stops and I will keep on going because life is too short. What is the past is done but there is always the future to change.

without the choices I made - good or bad - I would not be who I am now, with all the good and bad parts.  I like myself now. I figure that I had to follow the road I took the get to this point.. and that has enabled me to (hopefully) make better choices today and in the future.

If I had my life to live over, I would let go of silly fears and sometimes leap before I looked.  I hate that I allowed society and my very strict upbringing dictate how I lived my life, especially as an adult.

I'm sure I have more regrets, but at least I've let go of some things and plan on having the time of my life while I'm still alive and kicking!!

Agreed!!!
It's kind of like *"Political Correctness"* isn't it?

I find that a very poignant thought.  People who regret and want to go back to change things, does that mean they do not like themselves and who they are?

In some cases, I think so, gorgeous.. but in other cases (like in Wanders post re: her brother) I think it's wanting to have the chance to do that one thing that can never EVER be done again.
