Anyone watch this show?  I just discovered Season One on Comcast's "On Demand."  I'm not much of a TV watcher, but I'm hooked!  And Season Two begins next week (AMC).

It takes place in 1962 and is a spot-on portrayal of family and male dominated work life in that era, about advertising executives, their wives, and their office commrades.  The writing is intelligent, the styles are fun to watch, and the culture is the upper echelon white collar life in its day.

Anyone else enjoying this as I am?

Every time I hear about it, the show gets sterling reviews, but I haven't seen an episode yet.

I adore it and cannot wait for season 2.  Everyone I've asked who worked in corporate America at that time says it's spot on.

What's funny to me is that I started working at an advertising agency in the mid-70's and some of the characters in the show may have actually still have been working there.

John Hamm is absolutely stunning as Don Draper and is a very complex character who loves his wife but also has females on the side.  Iron, you are right about most of the male characters are sexist bastards.

I would have loved to have been January Jones, who plays Betsey Draper, cute, blonde, a killer figure to die for and mmmm....HOT!
