Ian, it's way past time to grow up and take responsibility for your actions and speech. There are always consequences whether one mans up and accepts responsibility or not. However, I concur with others' suggestions that you quietly consider matters and take whatever action is responsible, prudent and kind. Keep it to yourself and those directly involved. Otherwise, you will continue to come across as a self-centered, li'l boy attention ho.
