So, I had to get my industrial re-done because it got infected while I was out of the country (didn't have the right soap...), then I had to take it out for a CT and it closed up on me. Sigh. Anyway, the person that I had doing is a friend who is apprenticing. However, her boyfriend, who has been piercing/ tattooing for quite some time was there the entire duration and made sure she did everything she needed to do, etc. Well, I had it done Monday and even when she put the needle through, I thought, "WOW! this sure hurts a lot more than last time.. that sucks." It's now been 6 days and counting and the thing is so sensitive I can hardly clean it. No, it's not infected; it is a little red, but there is no discharge, swelling ,etc. It's just really ridiculously sensitive. I think it could be a number of things... She did it in the same spots, so there is scar tissue fighting with the rings; she did it at a different angle than last time, and because of this she had some trouble getting one of the rings in, so she was yanking on my ear. Anyway, my question is, I bought some analgesic stuff from CVS tonight, but it's not exactly cutting the trick. I just need it to not be so sensitive so I can clean and rotate the rings really well. Any thoughts? All help is MUCH appreciated :-D
