Hello,

I have two issues. The first is that my profile for surrenderforme seems to have disappeared. I tried to add it back on to my basic ID and it says it is taken. I did a search of yahoo members and it does not come up. I sent an email to yahoo contact, but would be surprised if I ever hear from them. Any ideas?

Second issue. I reinstalled IM. I added them to my contacts and somehow every time I open IM my name is now that persons first name. It does not show on the profile and I have looked in every tab I thought might apply and can't find where to go to change it. Any ideas?

Hi,

It will go through, that is not the issue. I am getting irritated by the tiny detail of seeing someone elses name when I type something and send it.

I see a profile under the name "surrenderforme." It's doesn't have any information or a photo, but it's there. http://profiles.yahoo.com/surrenderforme

Click on the "Messenger" tab, than click on "My Contact Details." Type in the information you want to show on your IM, than click "Save and Close"

I hope that helped you out. Let me know if it worked.

I'm not sure if this will help, but under "messenger" at the top of your contact list you can click on "my contact details" and put in the name you want others to see for you.

Hi slaveboyforyou,

I did change my name to the correct one, thank you anyway.

I can't access the profile for surrenderforme as mine, it just comes up under members. Which is a step forward from when I did the search. I couldn't find it. Thank you for finding it.
