hmm, would YOU stand in line for 5 hours?  Wouldnt you want to know if there is a list or not?

I see this is as organized as Katrina.

This event has much more import than standing in line or not.

Our entire banking system is poised for a melt down. The so called "sub-prime mortgage crisis" isn't just sub-prime but mortgages in general. As the ripples from the stone into the pond begin to reach the shore it will only continue to get worse, deeper and will touch pretty much everyone.

Our money is no longer money, and hasn't been for almost 40 years. The weaning from our previous precious metal standard began in 1913 and continued into the 1970's when a precious metal backing was dropped completely. At this point we have merely paper currency, or fiat currency, with no intrinsic value and represntative of nothing of value. History shows that every society that has debauched its honest money has fallen.

This is eerily reminiscent of the 1929-when the market crashed and people began runs on the banks. The lucky ones got there first-the rest lost thier life savings.

Gold doesn't have any intrinsic value either - only the value that people agree that they will place on it.

The meltdown we are poised for is the one the media will create by panicking people into stampeding the banks.

If they succeed at that, then the rest will certainly ensue.

I am afraid you are correct.

People a few generations ago stood in line much longer during the Great Depression.  Black Friday anyone?
