But Harry, I am honest. [:D]

Which doesn't mean I don't lie, of course. But honesty means a lot to me.

kiwisub12 -> RE: I'm honest (7/12/2008 9:45:52 AM)

it wouldn't occur to me to put "honest" in my profile - why would anyone think i was going to be dishonest?

I learned a  long time ago that people accuse others of the sins that they themselves commit - so if someone made a point of proclaiming their honesty, then i would have to wonder what made them want to do that.

lronitulstahp.............yaboo sux at the youtube post, hard limit hard limit, my ears are bleeeedingggggggggg, hahahhaha
that was just plain mean.
As to the OP, anyone saying they are honest, trustworthy, morallly superior, or any kind of superior, is lying to themselves to make a point, but I just dont wanna hear it.And usually have post historys that prove the direct opposite.Thank heavens for iggy. out in offline life, their actions speak far louder than their words, but they have their red flags

As a cab driver, I long ago learned that when I meet a customer who starts telling me how honest he is, to get money up front.

I see a lot of profiles here that start off with talking about how honest the member is.  Am I the only one who wants to hide my wallet when I see this?

It depends on the delivery; those who make a huge deal about it definitely worry me.  Those who mention it once as part of a more significant narrative (especially if the rest of it passes my bullshit detector) tend to not bother me so much.

But ultimately, experience is what matters.  If you're honest, you don't have to say it repeatedly.  You will put your money where your mouth is. (or, put your mouth where your foot is, occasionally)

I'm as honest as the day is long.  Of course, I only say that at night.

I am as pure as the driven.... slush.

Ah my ex will tell you within ten minutes of meeting him that he is one of the few honest people left in the world. [:'(]
His world view is beyond skewed lol.

My wallet goes in my front pocket, and has all my life. I don't know what is wrong with others, but something obviously is.
