And when did an American president, revealing the secrete identity of an undercover CIA agent, become business as usual?

These are interesting times.

Rove lives in a world where its either, "winning and getting away with it," or "losing and not being accountable for it."

Its all politics with him, all the time.

In UNCOVERED: The War on Iraq one point made about the policymakers on the BUSH team is how they sleep well at night and have no angst over what happened, whereas the lower level people who went to IRAQ to try and put it back together after the invasion -- are tortured souls.

Apparently they want to ask some questions about some guy named Don Siegelman or something. Unless Bush gave the orders to do what got done, then does the concept of Executive Privilege even come into play?

Can "EP" protect one against the consequences of PERSONAL MALFEASANCE in an un-official act?

That would be the former Governor of Alabama Don Siegelman who was repeatedly tried until they got a conviction and even then when a federal appelate court finally got the case they immediately set the man free.

Rove is in that political witch hunt up to his neck and there are enough sworn depositions about his involvement to make it pretty much a sure thing that if a grand jury ever hears the case Rove andf his co-conspirators will be indicted on multiple counts. Of course I expect it to be covered in his omnibus pardon.

Since when is committing treason "business as usual"... and since when is prosecuting those who were responsible for these actions a "witch hunt?" Republicans: first to gut the Constitution when it suits them... and the first to hide behind the process they sought to destroy, to save their foul, smelly, brain-laden asses.

From now on, I'd like to start a new 'net term: N3's... (Nazi, numskull, neo-cons)

Oh, and as far as my "he should be shot in the stomach" comment... yes, it WAS meant as a humorus overstatement. Funny, the Republicans can engage in this sort of low brow humor, (Cheany's "go fuck yourself" on a hot mike, Ann Coulter's last three books, as examples, even though THEY meant every syllable.) but if a Democrat says ANYTHING even slightly off kilter, (even as a joke) they run about the room like decapitated chickens, screaming about how "shocking" we're being.

The N3's: two faced hypocrites!

To modify a classic Will Rogers quote: When I say something insulting, it's meant as a joke. When republicans say something insulting,  it becomes a law. (or a war)
