That does look really cool. Though I can't really call it a helicopter once the gas bag is in the mix. Sweet airship!

it is so cool GT...it never ceases to amaze me what man can think up and then create. on my flight back from MD sunday, i was over the wing so i could see how it moved at different times in the flight, especially during takeoff and then slowing down to land. i don't know why it is so miraculous to me but it is...it's just amazing.

yeah.. flying ROCKS!!! :) I'd love to go for a ride in a fighter jet... but I'd love just as much to be in the cockpit for a night landing.. when I was in England I got to ride in a heli and listen in on headsets.. very coool!

Love the name "Sky Hook". The sky hook, was an imaginary item we used to send tenderfeet out to find on Boy Scout camping trips.[:D] Now it`s a real thing.Very cool.

Hmmm.... Do the spinning rotors right next to the helium envelope give you pause?... They would me if I were flying that thing.

dammit Butch.. your avatar always messes with my eyes.. lmao! I would think that they would build it in such a way that the blades are a decent distance from the envelope.. or build in some kind of armor to prevent accidental slashing
