i had the extreme luck to see it recently and have only 2 things to say about it:

1. yes, Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar nod for his role as The Joker

2. see it on an IMAX screen if you can

going to see it again when it opens.

hey PA - when are you coming back to Chi-Town?

you missed another wondering Taste of Chicago (even met Stevie Wonder backstage before his star-studded performance)

A question, please ... before I see it on imax I need to make sure it doesn't have too many of those wobbly camera moves that make me utterly nauseous when watching.  lol  Do you think that may cause a problem?

This is one I've been dying to see...

I'm anxiously awaiting DK.... and I think I'm going to go see Hancock this weekend.

I'm seeing Hancock this weekend too.  Can't wait.

i saw Hancock over the weekend too - it's good twist on the traditional superhero persona.

Will Smith is great, I can't think of a movie of his that I didn't like, and this one looks to continue that streak.

Thanks for the review, especially sans spoilers!
(Those drive me nuts)

In the ads he reminds me of Robert Smith from The Cure

I wasn't a huge fan of I am Legend ... the ending ruined it for me - it was too pat and fell into the typical formula.

Want to see something that blows the shit out of "pat" and "formulaic", watch Spanking the Monkey; twisted and dark.

spankmedarlin -> RE: The Dark Knight - no spoilers here (7/9/2008 8:10:56 PM)

Spanking the Monkey was well done.

NeedingMore220 -> RE: The Dark Knight - no spoilers here (7/9/2008 8:11:13 PM)

Thanks - I'll put it on my list!

Yes, it was; the subject matter would leave most shaking their heads though [:D]
