Ok as some of you know i am moving on wednesday [:'(] When i had packed my room up all my stuff was put into storage. As a twue slave i found myself supervising the removal of my stuff rather than doing it! Heaven forbid i should break a nail, break a sweat for goodness sake [:D] Anyhoo as the 'boys' moved my stuff i found myself repeatedly saying 'careful shoes in that box' 4 times and these are not small boxes. 'careful fet wear in there' twice and these are not small suitcases. 'careful toys and stuff' in there only once but still not a small box. So is this too much stuff? And what should i do?

That sounds like a nice start but obviously you need more. When you have to rent a moving van just for the toys and such you're hitting the sweet spot. (says the guy with on set of flimsy cuffs and a pair of unused whips)

I can totally relate Misst. I am packing for an interstate move later this month and damn do I have a lot of stuff!!!!!! I am dreading packing all of my shoes....just seeing how many handbags I have was scary. I am giving away a lot of my things and still probably have way too much.

I believe you can't have too many pairs of shoes. For me shoes are one of my few little treats that I give myself.

My answer is a combo of Aileen's and Celeste's. Can never have too many......and shoes?!?! MissT!!! Of all people, YOU, contemplating the very IDEA that you may have too many shoes?!?!?! BUT, being the sadistic batich that I am..........I chose Celeste's answer in the poll. Because you can pretend it is a terrible thing to have the shoes just to get the tar whipped outta ya! You get whipped AND keep the shoes........win win situation.

Cripes. I helped a friend move to a smaller place because she hadn't put aside any cash reserves to get through a lean time. I moved over $30k in shoes alone, many unworn. I can't imagine why her house is in foreclosure. I voted [sm=whip.gif] - not for you, really, but for my friend.
