I have been a member of this site for only a few days, and I am finding it dangerous. I am going to need to conciously limit my time here.. perhaps with an alarm clock, because once I am here I just keep reading things and lose track of time. This community can be addictive. Well, uh unh... I am putting a stop to this right now! You guys arent going to suck me into your little corrupting web of friendly perversion, no sirree! Not this dominant! I am the too self-disciplied to fall for that. [;)] Seriously though. I am setting an alarm.

It's the "kid in a candy store" effect. Don't worry, it fades after a while. I had the same reaction the first time I went to a monthly play party for the first time... I became obsessed with going again, and again...

Ahhh, I remember when I posted a similar concern about this site being addicting (inhales deeply and exhales in a sigh.) Enjoy the delicious thrills while you can! Wyld, you can. You don't need your membership there, and if you want to post you can login. But if not you can read it and let everything stew in your mind all day until you get home. I can start a chapter of CMA right here if you like, complete with a 12 step program. Step one, when Terminator posts don't read it Step two, when DA posts, don't read it Step three, when fargle posts, don't read it I think you get the idea by now. But we differ from AA because at our meetings we will have beer, smoke and pizza. Naked Women dancing around, and sex in the hallways. If that doesn't cure you of this addiction, then you have to go to inpatient treatment. And if I am running it I can guarantee you will be impatient, and will get some treatment. T

Hate to tell ya and I know I'm repeating...but it's too late!! It's like a drug...you know you shouldn't, but you just gotta. I remember when I first clicked on the message boards. I was like a kid in a toy store with unlimited funds!! I'd rush home from work and the first thing I'd do is check the boards. It got to the point that my chores suffered so I had to devise a way to keep my house tidy and get my daily dose of collarme; for every thread you read, you must clean a room or start a load of laundry, etc. Oh, and get this....every question you ever had in mind from kink to "regular" can probably be found using the search feature. An alarm clock may help, but you can always shut it off. So, as BRNaughty stated..sit back and enjoy as Collarme World Turns. [image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m9.gif[/image]

I'm not sure whether its the endless supply of pretty pictures (Hi girls [:)]) or the opportunity to speak and be heard, but CM is an addictive place. Having been a life time gamer, I've had time to figure out this "addiction". For most, its something we do to pass the time. Posting and reading and talking on this site is simply a better time sink than watching TV, with exceptions for Futurama, Good Eats, How Its Made, Mythbusters, and a few select movies. Quite simply... I can quit any time I want... I just have nothing better to do. If you are, however, late for work because you were up all night posting here, then you have a problem. ... what... ... stop looking at me that way... ... I >>CAN<< stop... I just don't want to!
