Do you place yourself in the BDSM D/s photos you view on the net? I didn't realize I did it myself until a friend, whom I met on Collarme, asked me to send her pictures of titty clamps (my favorite) based on a prior post. No, I tend to see photos as documentation of the scene that was photographed. Which, unfortuantely, prevents me from really getting into most of the porn that I actually like - rather than being turned on, I simply get violently, depressingly jealous.

Visual porn does very little for me so I rarely seek it out. Aural and literary porn are far more exciting and the construction of a story or a scene and the subsequent use of imagination are far more of a turn on than any two dimensional picture.

I know I do. I like to put myself in the Mistress's place in the pic and get a feeling of what I'd do to that slave who's serving her or being punished by her. I love porn. I am a very visually oriented person. However, I don't look at bdsm porn as something to turn me on. When I look at it, it is usually to get ideas for me to use in the future or to dream about new toys to use on a slave. Sometimes I imagine myself in the place of the domme and my slave in the place of the slave in the pictures. I try to imagine how I would handle that type of scene and how well my slave would respond to it. I don't get off on bdsm porn anymore than I would get off on reading a dictionary. They are both just informative.

No, I don't put Myself in the place of other people's pictures. I have quite the library of My own scattered throughout the files of My PC, and even a few short videos. i only look at certain types of porn, and not to place myself in the picture or for fantasy's sake, but to get ideas for implements and styles that i can use, and to look at the drapes and critique surroundings! We have a large collection of pics of us and our poly family, taken during sessions, they are private and are great to look through and remember old times, but not to get off from. Personally, i cannot place myself into a scene on a page because i cannot feel the emotions underlying the image, and it is just a sterile view without that.
