ORIGINAL: HeavansKeeper I don't mean to plug any company, but this is what you want: http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er20.aspx The design cools, so it doesn't feel like your ears are stuffed. Low cost Ready-fit NEW BabyBlues for small ear canals Replicates the ear's natural response Sound quality is preserved Speech is clear, not muffled Reduces sound approximately 20 dB at all frequencies (From the site) I've used these and can say they're worth the money, and do all they promise. Its important to note these are not combat ready, and probably not strong enough to put your face in a subwoofer at a local punk rock show that thinks volume makes up for a lack of attendance. Man, I wish I had ear plugs that night. Second the ER-20's. It's what Wife#1 uses. ( I have a set of custom fitted earmolds with -15dB filters in, myself, but for me they're a professional expense, so I don't expect everyone to spend 150$ at the audiologist... )
