A lot of ppl complain that they've got Admirers they don't like/want/know/etc. There's a quick and easy way to fix that.

1) From Home, go to your Admirers list.
2) Copy the username of someone you don't want "admiring" you.
3) Go back to Home.
4) Enter the username in the search and hit enter.
5) The user in question appears. Click "Block User".
6) Go back to your Admirers list. They're gone.

Keep in mind, this person can't send you a message, view you, or interact with you in any way, so only do this to ppl you know you don't want to communicate with.

Wow! Thank you sooooooo much! I have someone that is on my list for my journal and I want him off! I couldn't figure out how to get him off (not that way, that is part of the problem, hehe). You made my day! Thank you!

Help! I blocked him and yet his picture is still on my list of subscribers to my journal. Any way that I can get him off the list and I don't have to look at him daily? lol Does this mean he is still able to view my journal and get email alerts that I have posted something new? I might be able to delete his picture, but I want to make it so he can't see my journal if there is a way to do that. Thank you...

I am not sure there is a way to keep your public journal and profile hidden. I know we can block contact, but that's all, I think. Time to ask the support staff.

You can keep your profile/journal hidden by deactivating your profile. Not sure if you want to go to those lengths for one person because it will prevent everyone from viewing.

You'll have to journal somewhere else for that, like "livejournal", which lets you pick and choose who can view your journal. CM isn't set up for that.

I personally don't know -- or care -- who is on my Admirer's List. I like using my 'Favorites' list to contact people without having to search for their profiles, but otherwise, I could care less who 'admires' me or whether they subscribe to my journal.

If someone actually emails me and really annoys me, I use 'Block'.

Actually blocking a profile only prevents it from coming up on your searchs, they can still see your profile, read your journal, etc. You will also remain on their Favorites list.

Not true, they can still view you, read your journals and such they can just not communicate with you. There are several people who have me blocked who have been trying to poach Fox, and I can view their profiles and the like, I just cant send them email.
I dont think there is a way to remove someone from your admirers or journal subscriptions. Just ignore that they are there.

Slightly offtopic lilafg, but can you help me - why is it an issue?

I used to use the favourites tickbox to bookmark profiles which interested me so I could later go back and drop a note. But occasionally someone (to whom I'd not yet sent a note) would mail me yelling for me to get off their admirers list. So I stopped (even though to me it was my favourites list!), but could never understand why it was an issue.

Admirers, as I understand them, as people who have looked at your profile X times in Y time. (I could be wrong). Having something like a dirty story or sexy picture... with the little latex number, and the perfect backside, with unblemished skin, distinctly risen baby hair... I've... lost my train of thought.

Oh, right.

I took that picture of my tits off my profile and my admirers went down to 4.

Apparently admirers are people who have you on their favorites list?
