Happy Canada Day!

This morning the entire family, along with many other friends and co-workers, walked our town and planted Canadian flags in the lawns.  Our small little town now has a flag at every house.  The rest of the day will be spent relaxing and having fun.

What are other Canadian CM members doing for the day?

Ah, socialised medicine.

If it weren't for the snow I'd emigrate.

Canada is a lovely country and a great neighbor.

Socialized medicine does not come free about 60% of every dollar earned is taxed you you are paying for it whether you use it or not ..as far as emigrating ..you likely would be rejected because of our medical system .. you would be viewed as a drain ..rather than a contributor to the system ..age ..health status and working status all plays a role into being accepted into this country.

I am on my 2 weeks vacation   so relaxing today

60% ? Oh come now, it's no where near that...

(oh right, I get you...)

Yeah, at least 60% by the feds, not including sales taxes, carbon taxes, provincial takes, property taxes... Beter stay well away from Canukistan, our dear friends to the south...

Happy Canada Deh!

Zed.
