Not to make light of the situation, I hope that all recover to full health, but... Would this be the first verifiable evidence that a French soldier fired his weapon and hit a person?

Thaddius, I believe it may be true for the Regular french army, but as far as the French Foreign Legion is concerned, they always hit what they shoot at, usually more than once to make sure they are dead.

The FFL seem to have the motto, "Use up all the ammo we got, we can always get more."

I believe it would be... You know whats really interesting about the French military? The only unit they have thats worth a shit is the Legion - which doesnt have any fucking Frenchmen in it LOL

Now that's not nice, Thad. The French have fired their weapons with some accuracy before. Wasn't it Tunisia, where they shelled the Allied landing, in WWII?

(And good thoughts for the victims of this stupid mistake.)
