To JerseyKrissi72: Yes, it is more dirty but if one of the major objectives of the kidnapping scene is to scare the living sh*t out of someone the tub is the best place to steal someone away unexpectedly because they're in a very relaxed state not at all expecting someone to break in wearing a ski mask to whisk them away to a dark room to interrogate them. In an alley a person is more on guard, it takes a bit of the scare away.
