Given the fascination that society has for things of that nature, how long do you think it'll be before one or more people appropriately pose on the statue for the purpose of having their pictures taken with it?

Phew!  I'm just glad it turned out to be what it was.  I was almost afraid to open the link for fear of what I'd find.

And where did they get those nurses?  From a brothel?

Yes, they should  have had a group of CNA's standing there wearing latex gloves.  Would have been more practical.

rofl....the "nurses" are a bit amusing for sure...not sure what relevance they have but i guess sex sells, even if it's an enema statue.

Ya know, without the little winged cherubs it would like an exhibit in a science and technology museum.

I keep envisioning postcards.
'Wish you were here!' written across the photograph of that glorious golden bulb syringe, surrounded by tourists.
Or perhaps 'Travellers stomach ailments have no place in our town!'

It is just such a weird weird thing to use as a towns claim to fame but then I live in a town that was once billed as 'The worm capital of the world'.

I'm a huge Howard Stern fan and this week (or maybe it was last week?) they had Will the Farter come on the show and do paintings by using paint and his ability to fart a LOT on demand- its definitely not for the weak stomached to listen to over the radio!

Or place the sculpture in front of a Jiffy Lube?  Think of the marketing possibilities here!

Uh...how do you celebrate the worms?  I mean like "Podunk Town Worm Festival" might get your town on the Discovery Channel but not on the cover of "Travel and Leisure".
