The idea the since California has Gay Marriage, and Mass has Gay Marriage and New York *formally and legally* recognizes those marriages, although doesn't explicitly provide for them ( although reading the relevant NYS Law, there's no explicit exclusion... I'd expect it next legislative session... )
Anyway... My point is -- This train ain't gonna be stopped, and people better adjust to the idea.
One day real soon SCOTUS will face this:

and have no choice but to declare all the state bans on recognizing gay marriage unconstitutional. I'm looking forward to it.
