In an attempt to try something a little different in the endless sea of posturing, presentation, and show that seems to plague the waters of BDSM, I was hoping to hear about anything at all that qualifies you as NOT being a True Dominant or submissive, Master or slave, top or bottom, Owner or Property, or whatever other label you have bestowed upon yourself.

There is no right or wrong answer and no specific criteria. Just whatever little quirk, behavior, or personality trait that you think will take you to the finals for this year's "Most UnDomly or UnSubly Award".

For example...

I am incredibly ticklish on the bottom of my feet which tends to make foot worship very difficult and often comical since I have a bad habit of bursting out into fits of laughter when my feet are rubbed the wrong way.

I've been spanked.

I often care so much about the physical and emotional needs and health of my girls that I often put them in front of my own needs, sometimes at my own expense.

So....let's hear it!

Something that triggers those little thoughts of "Geez, a real Dominant/submissive shouldn't do that!" when you catch yourself doing it.

I hate fetish clothes on me or on others... according to the stereotype of dominant women I should be in nothing but fetish clothes.

I won't belittle or insult my sub or slave... see stereotype again of the dominant woman.

In short, I'm happy I'm not a stereotype and if someone is foolish enough to think stereotype equals "true" then they aren't the sort of people I'm interested in even meeting let alone impressing in any fashion.

I only put on high heels for foot worship or sit-down events.  Otherwise, when you see me I'll most likely be in flipflops or crocs.  Comfort first for these feet!  -Including I tend to top and bottom (oh noes, I bottom!) in bare feet most times.

I don't normally find D/s or BDSM a sexual turn on at all... nor most of my D/s and BDSM partners.

I can be embarassingly forgetful (due to some medical malpractice damage)...  not in that I forget important things, but in that I forget simple things that are obvious, often at the worst times, which can make me appear flakey to those that don't know me well.  Just the other day hugged a friendly acquaintance hello and then asked another if they'd be at that event not 5 minutes later.  Played it off as being distracted due to upcoming event excitement, but there it was...  stuff like that.

I do admit a small smile when I'm greeted by "Hello, I'm True Domly Masterly God." And I can respond with "Oh, I'm John Warren."

One funny thing happened about the time The Loving Dominant came out.  Libby and I were on the CNBC show "Real Personal," and I mispoke.  I don't remember what it was except the I did something like leave off the "not" from a statement.  Libby spoke right up and corrected me.  I thanked her and went on.  I didn't think anything of it until later when we were greeted with a bombardment of "how could she do that" and "you should have whipped her on air" from the Tuew Crowd.

Geeze, I made a mistake and my submissive protected me from making a fool of myself.  That's part of her job... to make me look good.  If President Ford had had a good submissive handy during the debate, he might not have lost the election.

I cry at movies .... like ALL the time. If it's heart wrenching my tear ducts are tugged.

I LOVE playing with toys... Like Lincoln Logs, or Matchbox Cars, or Legos.

I Go see Disney Movies ..... by myself!

In another Thread I named Most of the Care Bears all the Care Bear Cousins and many of the American Version of My Little Pony.

I like to polish my nails and if it's available I like clear nail polish to make them Shiny.

I LIKE Quote, UnQoute Chick Flicks.

I LOVE the Theater, proposed to my wife at a CATS production at Tuachan .

I collect Little Penguins, Glass, Plastic no matter I just happen to love penguins they are the coolest creature on the planet.

I like the band Aqua and I know all the words to "Barbie Girl" .

I have used all my toys on myself and am scared of some of them (Which means I own them but don't use them cause they hurt).

When I am sick I am Pathetic.... Period end of statement.

I am an opinionated little cow ... who always has to be right .... and usually at any cost
I believe that Masters and Owners are mortal, just like anyone else, and are more than able to fuck up, forget shit, and generally be human.
I dont go in for the whole "sisterhood" thing with other slaves/submissives in the real time scene .. and would much rather drink beer with the Doms at the bar than talk shoes with the girls on the sofas.

edited to add ... though the Twue Sub Union will have my card for this

... I like finding  weak, insecure and needy Dominants .. and crushing them beneath my metaphorical boot ... especially if I can make them cry ... at a public fetish event

Two EXCELENT References.

Most Recently I was a Gushing Mess with the Movie August Rush. I got a soft spot for Movies about children being reunited with family. I have never been Abandoned so to say from my family but it is an important thing to me and August Rush just tugged at those particular Heart Strings a little Strongly.

I am Glad I am not the only one to get choked up at movies.

My Ex used to ask why I cry when I know it's just an Actor playing a Part.

Yeah we didn't mesh well when it came to Film.

I 'm just a Big'ol'Softy I can admit that.

I have to agree with fetish wear. Most of it just looks like a really bad costume party TO ME.

I have no desire to prove how veddy cool and dommely I am to anyone because I really don't care and most of all because I am too lazy to go to the bother of attending any sort of event to prove it.

I occasionally allow a 9.5# canine with amazingly huge ears to dominate me. I've also been known to talk in a really annoying, almost babytalk, voice to all of the furry babies.

I have giggled.........rarely........but it's happened.

adorable thread....nothing to ad because i am a switch which basically is the Ky Jelly for going between roles.....but i am enjoying the responses...and Steel i just love that you go to disney by yourself...one more thing in common :)
