Oh ,,, one more very important thing.  Don't put your hand through windows anymore.  If you cut the other one, you won't be able to type on cm except with your nose.

at 2:30 all is well.  :-)  the neighbor Shirley was out so I asked her about to look at it. She said it looks better.  [she had loaned me an ice pack]

I havent used any peroxide- nor have I been doing real dirty tasks.

I am as of 9am on the correct regiment of antibiotic.

A pharmacist has alot of med training.  When I got the rx filled I asked him about it.

So at this point things seem ok.   I was thinking if I wear my carpal brace then I can go bike riding.   I see a page on removing stitches.  But I dont think I will need it.

maybe it is a guy thing, especially if [as I have] worked in construction for a bit...that cuts are part of life.

Thanks to all!

A pharmacist knows a lot about medications and drug interactions.

On windows- yeah- im going to lay off that.I did get a window sorta in.    It has been a long project for sure.

Pharmacists have alot of training, you can pick their brain.   They welcome it.  They went to school alot of years- and can be of help.

You need to go back to the doctor.  Green flesh is not an indicator of health unless you are a lizard.

hmm. I was going to ask how do I open one of the stitches.

The hand has a greenish tint to it.  2.5in x 3 in area.   the pharmisist seen it at 9am.it was fine then.    I figure wait to 4sh or 5. I would have had 2 of the 500 mg keflex.

i have to ask...could what you are calling "green" be bruising around the area secondary to the trauma?

Do yourself a favor and unless you know what you are doing, or are in an extremely desparate situation - do NOT try to remove your own stitches by following instructions from the internet.

There are considerations you wont recognize - tissue granulation etc - and you stand a very good chance of fucking it up. I will put in, and take out, my own stitches but I have been both officially and unofficially trained to. (first aid portion of military survival training, paramedic class, clinical rotations on paramedic class, informal session with vet and dentist, taught to use crazy glue instead by local neighborhood surgeon, etc...

See a nurse practicioner or PA if you dont want a doctor, but dont entrust your medical care to pages on the internet. Youre not a crash survivor downed in the Amazon, you have access to professional medical care in the USA.

The hand is bloated, tho the color is back.   I have to see my psychiatrist tomorrow- so-im not sure how that all will work out.  I took a nap which is something I seldom do.  the skin is growing over the stitches already.  i gotta get back into my veggie routine.  unless- that or get out on the bike -too deal with the gut.

I hope June isnt as expensive a month as May was.  i cant get all these windows shut.  i better quit while im ahead.  :-)
