My PC security suite consists of 4 programs for my XP machines - Zone Alarm Firewall ( turn the next to useless windows firewall off), AVG free antivirus, Ad-aware, and Spybot search and destroy. For my old Win 98 machines, I use the older version (ver. 6.1.744.001) of Zone Alarm ( I think it's still available for download), Avast antivirus (Avg no longer supports Win 98), ad- aware, and Spybot search and destroy. In addition, I use Firefox browser, and a 3rd party super email client (Pegasus) that has some great protection, in addition to NEVER (repeat NEVER) click on a link you don't trust 100%. I run Avg or Avast every 2 weeks, and both adaware and spybot S&D monthly - and I haven't had a virus in 5 years. Just sayin........ AND - all this great stuff is FREE!!!
