So what is everyone's favorite movie or television theme songs? Any songs you remember even years after you've heard it?

I don't really have any favorites.  Some songs remind me of certain movies because they were part of the soundtrack.  The Bangles version of "Hazy Shade of Winter" always reminds me of that movie "Less than Zero."  If you don't remember the movie, it's the one where Robert Downey Jr. is blowing guys in a hotel room to pay off his coke debt.  Great movie.

Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" always reminds me of "Apocalypse Now."  I can't here that piece without remember the AirCav scene in the movie.

Now there is one T.V. theme song that makes me laugh everytime I hear it.  The A-Team theme does it everytime.  When I was 16, my friends and I had this little game we played on weekends.  A security guard watched the school we went to at nights.  He was an old guy, and he always fell asleep in his car.  We would drive up next to him with our headlights out and lay on the fucking horn.  LOL, The son of a bitch would wake up and chase us.  It was hillarious.  We did it almost every weekend.  Well one night, my crazy friend George popped in a cassette with the A-Team theme song as we were being chased through the parking lot.  We were wearing ski masks, and started calling our little prank---MISSIONS.   I still remember that to this day.

The Greatest American Hero
(I was saddened when Seinfeld used it as Georges answering machine message)

O, i like this Op.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070849/

'Last Tango in Paris'

We are two illusions who touch in a trance
Making love not by choice, but by chance

We don't exist
We are nothing but shadow and mist
In the mirror we look as we pass
Our reflections revealed in the glass

Don't you know that the blood in your veins
Is as lifeless as yesterday's rain
It's a game where we come and conceal
The confusion we feel
As long as we're nameless
Our bodies are blameless

You cried when we kissed
It was nothing but shadow and mist
Two illusion who touch in a trance
Making love not by choice, but by chance
To a theme we tore from their past
To a tango we swore was their last
We are shadows of dance

As long as we're nameless
Our bodies are blameless

You cried when we kissed
It was nothing but shadow and mist
Two illusions who touch in a trance
Making love not by choice, but by chance
To a theme that we tore from their past
To a tango we swore was their last
We are shadows of dance

The last tango...
The last tango...

Was actually a cartoon I used to watch as a kid.

Denver the last dinosaur..

If my memory hasn't completely failed me, the dinosaur liked to skateboard. I still hum the themesong to that one when I'm bored.

'Mighty Mouse'

Mr. trouble never hangs around,
When he hears this Mighty sound,

Here I come to save the day!

That means that Mighty Mouse is on the way!

Yes sir, when there is a wrong to right,
Mighty Mouse will join the fight!

On the sea or on the land,
He's got the situation well in hand!

i have a serious 'Mighty Mouse' thingie.
i remember how much i hated Pearl, because i wanted to be his girlfriend.  A bit of species confusion, lol.
