I hate to offer an opinion that spoils reading the essay itself as I think it's an excellent essay and well worth your time.

Oh, they want to do more than that, build vaccines into foods. One author termed it 'frankenfoods'.

This is nothing new.For the record I am agin it, I also will not eat anything hydrogenated.

That's just the tip of the iceberg. The article has much broader significance than just the discussion of margarine.

Its a good paper although the author misstated one fact early in the paper.  Margerine was originally made as a food supplement for cattle, who were smart enough not to eat it.  It was then turned on us claiming it was the 'new butter."  It is one of the many nonfood foods that I refuse to eat.
