but I can soooooooooooooooo relate to how you describe her parents...seriously, this could have been my dad...and why I made my decision ages ago, that I would never ever even tell them about my wedding if that would take place...as I simply would not give him a chance to ruin it, in the first place

Status: offline 		Heading out of Florida today. YAY! I did find Butterhead a necklace that I think she will like. Nothing for Roscoe though. I am planning on picking up some citrus fruit on the way out since it is healthy and stuff. Some for me and some for a friend and her family.

My next step is to find some trifle recipies for the 4th of July. I think that a trifle might go over well.

Status: offline 		Today my better half and I celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I am so lucky to have him. We've actually known each other for 35 years now. He is my heart and my strength.

And we are now 7 days and counting before heading "North, To Alaska". My love of the show Deadliest Catch has us catching a ride on the Aleutian Bound (season 2) for a trip out into the Bering Sea. I so excited!

Status: offline 		Sorry I will miss you LadyP, but travelling with hubby and 2 children prohibits ANY meets. I am getting very excited as we leave on Tuesday. I have all my paperwork organized, a new wardrobe purchased, camera batteries recharged.

I pulled out the big map this afternoon and showed my son, who is a little nervous about the crab tour as he does watch Deadliest Catch with me. I showed him where they fish during the show, and the much more southern, calmer, warmer waters we will be in. Ketchican, Juneau and Skagway! Prepared to be invaded! LOL

Status: offline 		I have been to Alaska for a fishing trip. Met with a great sub I met from another site. I want to go back and go on a trip thru the wilderness. There is a lot of unexplored land in Alaska and I want to explore it.
