ORIGINAL: DesFIP What does it matter if her clothes match? And sneakers go in the washing machine. Fighting over clothes is the last thing anybody should do, unless it's a special occasion. Of course, I well remember blanching at the sight of one of my daughter's outfits and sent a note to her teacher saying she dressed herself and I wasn't to blame for the color combination. whilst I don't know what sneakers are, thanks for sharing that my mum wasn't the only one feeling embarrassed Tennis runners. Gym shoes. Reebok's. Canvas All-Stars. From what I understand, my mother was embarrassed each time one of us became old enough to wear make-up. Thanks for letting me know, much appreciated Make-up was never an issue here, apart from once dad telling me off for using make up when I actually hadnt used any make up My mum barely used make up and apart from that trial period where I explored all those fascinating colours and pots with anti-wrinkle creams, when i was about 13, I got never hooked on it...so no make up here
