This is why my hair is wash and wear.......slap a little hair goop on it and out the door I go.  I can blow dry it if'n I feel like doing something different.  My hair would probably be down to my butt if I hadn't been cutting it for the last 3 years or so....it did make it to my shoulders, but it got too hot to sleep in, and when I worked or did anything outside, sweat running thru my hair is just ewwwwwwwwwww.

I look horrible with short hair.  Kind of like a human chipmunk with its cheeks full of crackers they have stolen from you.

 Well, here I am, awake, yet again.  I think I slept for about 3 hours.  I"ve taken melatonin, selenium, benedryl, nothing is working....and it's all stress.  I just can't shut my mind off.  I failed a stupid lie detector test....according to it, I'm  a member of a subversive group, I've stolen money from an employer, and I associate with known criminals......BULLSHIT!  I don't even belong to a political party, I've never had a job working with money, and the only people I hang with are cops and dispatchers.  I'm busting my ass at a job that doesn't even make as much as unemployment, I'm just feeling like I'm going in circles.

Crap....sometimes, life just sucks!

OK, pity party is over.....sometimes, you just gotta have one.

Thanks for the hugs, Greedy and Lady H!  They are much appreciated.....it's the whole "waiting for the axe to fall" thing.  According to the recruiter, if I blew the test, it does knock me out of the running....according to the detective, it won't......someone needs to make up my mind already.  But I'm going to schedule the test I need to take for Tampa PD next week, and get that out of the way.  I'm scheduled for the one in Volusia County in March.  And when I go to Volusia's, I'm also going to go down the road a bit to Red robin and pig out! *nomnomnumnumnomnom*

And Greedy, he may be fluffy, but he's still ROTTEN!  [>:]

And Sci....yeah, really....don't mess with a sleep deprived woman!  (Not to mention sex deprived.....that's a double whammy there!)

after some serious thinking today around 5am this morning I thought...naaahh.... cant be arsed, and dropped my hair dresser appointment. I would go to a hairdresser for my graduate job interview, yes, but for that one I dont consider it as being that important....I managed to wash 5 loads of my laundry (yay, 2 of my 3 washing baskets are empty again,at last) and now I need to put them up somewhere to dry [8|] as I don't waste 1 pound per 15 minutes tumble drying...naaah, that would cost me a fortune...[&:]

It hit nearly 40 degrees today. A veritable heat wave. I took out the ice chipper and worked on the driveway with no coat, just my sweater and gloves. And once I had it broken up, I got lucky. My son arrived home just in time to be handed the snow pusher with instructions to get all the loose shit off to the side.

Now I am the only person in the house and I'm going to make myself shrimp fried rice for dinner. I propose to pig out in front of the tv where I will rule the remote.

Woo hoo for me!!!!!

It was warm here today too, Celeste.....right now it's 68 degrees.....I swept the dead leaves and debris out of the driveway.....I keep tripping over those seed pod things that come off the trees.   I don't know what I'm going to have to eat yet.....I'm not really hungry right now.  [:)]

I would know what to eat but with my broken kitchen sink its going to be more and more an art to find dishes I am able to eat from (as it isnt great to wash them in the bathroom sink and i am run out of that metal stuff to scrub the things off). time to buy new cuttlery on monday or tuesday...i so have to get that damn thing sorted out.

np, des, come on down! ps. please bring those cinnamon chips and some peanut butter pieces to make choc chip cookies with. i've never had the cinnamon chips and am dying to see how they are in say, snickerdoodles. no baking necessary, we'll just roll and freeze for those cold days coming in about a month or so :)

by the time you get here the corn might be starting to produce, the passionfruit should be purple, the tomatoes MAY be popping and the tadpoles will definitely have more legs and less tails - the spiders and gecko's though, will still be chasin' the bugs in the sunroom, sorry.
