Status: offline 		hehehe...someone is trying to have me get on the Raw Food diet.   Someone (lips are sealed) is trying to get me on that diet but I am still a meat and potatoes gal.  I know that they mean well, but it is at least 1k away from here.  Just let me eat the stuff in the nature form, while we enjoy each other *where is that chocolate syrup *

Status: offline 		Filed my income taxes already......yesterday in fact.......one word of advice, if you file on line, run your number thru ALL of the 3 tax programs....Tax Act gave me back $500 more $$$'s than Turbo Tax, and they were the same numbers!  You can guess who I used to file!

Status: offline 		Today I am attempting some arts and crafts.  I am turning a test instrument case into a play clothes case for Butterhead.  I have started with "Magnetic Primer."  This should make it so she can stick magnets on the surface.  Then I shall commence to paint it pink.  Little girls are magically attracted to pink.  Supposedly between the ages of four and eleven.  Apparently Butterhead is ahead of schedule.

Yes, she has several sets of letters and veggies and I do not know what else. 

I thought that I might be able to make some special magnets. 

I also thought that she might like being able to stick different magnets to her play-clothes box.  That could be fun.  A movable magnetic chest.

Status: offline 		I recall buying my nephew a "make your own magnets set" a couple of years ago. not that this will help as im in the UK and cant recall the brand. Might have been in the Crayola range though.

Status: offline 		if you have a space you are willing to paint .... TWO coats of magnetic primer, followed by a coat of chalkboard paint - works like a charm. We also have a magnetic whiteboard in the play area!

Status: offline 		Lord, I freaking hate computers.....I had to do a clean wipe of the hard drive, took DAYS to get it right, then I couldn't connect to the internet, finally stumbled across the right troubleshooter and got that fixed, but now my monitor is all funky...it's like stretching things sideways, and I can't figure out how to fix that.....and the fonts are all funny, but at this stage in the game, I think I'll just get used to it......crap...I hate technology!  I still haven't gotten everything loadede back on the thing, but at this point, if I don't have it, maybe I didn't need it.

pppppbbbbbbbtttttttt!  I'm off to bed....maybe I can sleep now since I've been up since 1:30 pm yesterday....wait, yeah, Friday......where's the sandman when you need him?  I was thisclose to being out when KB decided that he was hungry....again.  So here I am, off to try again!

Status: offline 		Oh, and I had an interview with a police department here on the 12th....oh, man...did I blow it big time!  I'd start off real good answering their questions, and then just totally lose my train of thought!

The officer told me they'd be making calls back to the candidates by 5pm.....and no call came, so it didn't surprise me......

However, it came the next morning, and I WAS surprised!  I have the polygraph this Thursday, then probably a physical and whatever there is left of the background check to finish....once I make it thru that, I'm hired!  It's for a local city, right on the beach, so it will be interesting to be back in that sort of environment.  And it's a 4-10's schedule again.....woot!  The down side is that they rotate shifts every 6 weeks, so that means I'll be stuck working days.  EWWWWWW!

About the computer, I sympathize. Mine's okay but The Man downloaded a free screen saver program and he's been trying to fix the computer for days. He's finally found directions for how to remove the bugs, it involves writing a program in DOS for God's sake, and then entering that in safe mode. Serves him right for putting shit on it the first place.

Oldest has the last checkup next week before the metal in his jaw comes out and we will be able to put that nasty episode to rest.
