We are trying to move her up to the pull ups but at times, you have to look at the prices.   She goes go the bathroom when she feels to go.  Its just that in the morning the diaper is so soaked, you just want to put another one up (and the price of the pull up per price).

Got to get...my stomach is craving beef ribs...

soul2share -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (11/12/2010 3:31:32 PM)

<-------heading over to Aylee's house for something good to eat........BBQ ribs would hit the spot.......maybe next week!  {sigh}

Shar, I'd defninitely get the pull ups.....wish they were around when my guy was potty training!

Excuse me while I drool.....

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (11/12/2010 4:07:38 PM)

M's mom is trying to get her trained but letting her around nekkid does not help out...

M is trying to train herself  by watching  H, her older sister.

I remembered using the pullups when I was training Lizard.  She did pretty well and when she got into headstart, she was fulled trained.

Question for the bunches.....I keep getting a popup for Internet Explorer 8.....has anyone actually downloaded it?  Is it worth upgrading from IE7 to the 8 version?  I'm still having problems with my computer, have run all the suggested programs with negative results......would upgrading help?  My memory is less than half full according to my task manager.

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (11/12/2010 4:26:55 PM)

What is your OS?

soul2share -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (11/12/2010 5:35:57 PM)

Shar, it's windows XP......

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (11/12/2010 5:53:04 PM)

XP can handle IE8.  I am using Firefox on this computer and I am a WIN7.  for some reeason WIN7 hates IE8.

get Thorny to help you out.  Sounds like its time it check for worms and malware. (pesky Little gremlins)

soul2share -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (11/13/2010 9:38:35 AM)

I ran the Malware program, nothing there....I have no idea how to find a worm......

thornhappy -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (11/13/2010 11:21:36 AM)

I'm not much help, I'm afraid.  Once I had a trojan or two that nothing could detect, and I was running some pretty weird specialty things to get find the little buggers.  Whatever it was killed off system restore, disabled the security center, and actually blocked me from accessing Microsoft's windows update page, or the security center page.  The other symptoms were tons of redirects.

Finally I signed up for Mozy, uploaded everything important (especially the motherboard drivers), saved another copy on a portable drive, bit the bullet and wiped the drive.  Took about a day or so to get the machine back up with the apps I needed.  The only thing I messed up was my bookmarks file.

Right now I run Comodo for the firewall and Webroot Anti-Virus (it's also got a malware detector) on a Win7 laptop (the XP machine's drive croaked a few months after the drive wipe.  I figured 6 years and 1 upgrade was enough.)

Shahar, I've got no idea on the IE8 problem.  Does it happen every time you start IE7, or randomly?

soul2share -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (11/13/2010 4:04:18 PM)

Thorny, every so often it pops up when I go to the yahoo home page.  I was just wondering if the IE8 was any better than the IE7.  I tried it not to long after it was released a couple of years ago, and after 45 minutes of waiting for it to load, it didn't recognize my modem.  I was thinking maybe if I upgraded, some of the problems I'm having would be solved.

Mmmmm!  Cornbread!

Sounds so good.

I forgot to buy cornmeal at the store so no cornbread for me.  [>:]

And I have all the ingredients for several soups that are just made even more fantastic with cornbread.
