I am off for a lunch date here shortly.  I even decided to "purty up" and wear some slacks and a top instead of the usual jeans.  I hope that everyone is having a fantastic day!

mmmmmmmmm......FRESH AIR!  It's acutally been cooler here, for the past 3 days, I've turned off the a/c and opened the windows.......right now it's like 64 degrees!  We're all loving it!  And I'm sleeping great!  Still waking up with the insomnia and all, but when I'm asleep, at least it's a better quality sleep!  Not to mention the break on my electric bill!

So, has anyone heard from Holly at all?  I've never known her to not show up here, it does sort of make one wonder if the family's ok......

Lunch out was nice.  I took Butterhead to the park afterward since she did not get to come with me.  There was a rather naughty little girl there that was throwing sand in other children's faces.  The parent and grandparent completely ignored this behavior as well as ignoring the children.  That kind of thing really irritates me.

Aylee, have you found any interesting recipes in the books you got recently?

I have not really looked yet.  I was pretty excited to see all the kids cookbooks!  I think that little miss Butterhead will really appriciate it in a year or two!

Perhaps I will go look in them this afternoon as I have not decided on what to make for dinner yet.

It's freezing here folks. And still raining. I've given up and turned on the heat. We had to change the furnace filter first and it looked like it hadn't been changed for over a year.

We had to turn ours on two nights ago. Thankfully heat is included in the rent.

I figure I have about 2 months to go before I even think about heat....I love it cool, even cold in the house!  Especially my bedroom! The kittehs just crawl in under the comforter if they get too chilly.

An update for you.  I am making a hamburger soup / stew thing tonight.  It looked pretty easy and quick and I had all of the ingredients.  So far it is smelling delish!

If I have it cold in the house my fibro shoots in and gives me a heck of a lot of pain....so no cold flat here....but I try to use the heating less and manage with warmer clothing instead to keep my costs down as much as possible.

Have 260 hours work for this month and realised a moment ago that I would be away a whole week due to working day and night shifts (some nights sleep-in shifts), so I decided to go one night home on the 2nd night even when it is a pain (finish work at 10pm and have to be at training the next day at 10am, which means I will be at home for approx. 6 hours) but its best for the cats. The other 4 or 5 days I have no chance to get home in between, so plenty litter boxes and cat food has to be doing the trick I hate it when my furrys are alone like that And whilst I would organise a cat sitter if I go abroad next year I can't afford one this month, there just is no way...but at least I know it will be better to get home at least after 2 days in that long period of work...

today I am awfully knacked, didn't sleep much last night and after training (which was best ever as trainer was gooda and for a change I knew most of the participants really good which was just great ) I had to finish off my previous flat (at least as far as I was able to, its approx. ok though I would have preferred to have another hour time and would have preferred if the green bins would have been emptied as then I would have gotten all my stuff in th bins....). But never mind, I enjoy now knowing that the bitch on the first floor will throw her hissy fits of having no space in the bins for another week

So now is no need ever to get back to that place anymore and I keep an eye on my flat (will look it up from estate agent) to see if he finds a new tenant (I dont think that will happen soon with that crap kitchen and the fact he charges now even 50 bucks a month more than I used to have to pay)....and from tomorrow onwards finally my redelivery of my mail is happening, too

Today my neighbour told me she misses curry (ginger cat)...I had no idea that he regularly spend some time there....curry enjoyed it next door at times and spicy enjoyed it at a flat below the garden at times....boys However, she knows now they moved and are ok and it was cute that she said she misses him

yesterday when I switched off the light around midnight a black cat jumped up the window from outside and looked in....whilst cute that he figured out already that there are new cats it was a bit of a scare so unexprected and dark as the night Hope he won't be another fighting trouble for my boys

Tomorrow I am off all day after nightshift and hope to get much done with my moving (such as getting the bed together, getting the sofa bed together and getting the TV running) as well as the mail I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind it
