OWIE, Phoenix......You've been paying too much attention to our Holly's mishaps! Try not to bang yourself up too bad....moving will take care of that for you! I've fallen out of the moving truck, fallen into the moving truck, hit the trailer hitches and the bumpers more times than I can count, and then there's all the unloading. When I moved inot my place here, I was on the secong floor, with a narrow hallway...you've seen that.....and had to get a king sized mattress up here. (BTW, they WILL fold in half!) I was so sore that I couldn't walk right for a week! And that mattress stayed right where I dropped it in the living room until I could walk again.....about 10 days. Celeste, we have deer and bears here too.....never knew there were bears in Florida, but there are some biggun's here. And people hit them alot, it seems. Back home, the deer are a real hazard. The is a park in Irondequoit that is literaaly overrun with them, but sine it's in a huge residential area, there's no way to hunt them. And people scream bloody murder if they have to foot the bill for relocating them, or putting them down humanely, so instead, they raid yards and parks eating the greenery, and are slowly starving to death. Out in the country, driving at night, you learn the difference between the red eyes of a deer and the red reflectors on the shoulder......and where there's one, there's at least two more. I've never hit a deer, but one ran into my dad's (new) truck, and my neice took one out. Just finished season 2 of True Blood....it was pretty good. If it wasn't so much more a month, I'd order HBO just to get caught up on the rest of season 3...but my $99 cable "deal" actually turns out to be more like $130 after taxes for this, that and everything else.
