It is the glass bulbs found at the trinity site where they detonated the first atomic bomb in history. The detonation fused the sand around ground zero into glass. Most Trinitite was formed on ground. 1952 marks the date when site was closed. Some glass on eBay... what isn't? The glass I collect is pretty much limited to American-made, pressed glass.
